We are spending millions in order to find life on other planet, neglecting our own planet that is believed to be the only the planet which sustains life in a balanced way. What can we learn from this ?

One very basic thing that this question tends to answer is that we human beings prefer taking everything we have for granted. We keep chasing rather than being greatful for what we already have. The tendency must be to be thankful what we have and treasure it and then chase something for a back up.
