Laughing gas is not N2
Its Nitrous Oxide (N2O). Its a minor component of atmospheric air (approx. 0.33ppm).
In addition to this, the haemoglobin present on RBC does a job filtered absorption. It forms unstable compound with O2 and is an oxygen carrier.
