Given : taking two point masses with negligible Volume ; Mass A is of 40 kg,and mass B is of 50 kg

they are released from the top of building.

To Find :  Comment about their time of flight.

Solution:

negligible Volume

Hence air resistance can be neglected

Only force acting is gravitational force

Hence acceleration in both the objects is g

S = ut  + (1/2)at²

u = 0  as releases

S = h =  height of the building

a = g

t = Time of flight

h = (1/2)gt²

=> t = √2h/g

Hence their time of flight. will be sam e
