Given : three friends have different ages

Three years from now two of them will be of same age as two of us are aged,

To Find :  age gap between the eldest and the youngest

Solution:

Current ages

a  , b and c  years in ascending order

Ages after 3 years

a + 3 , b + 3 , c  + 3

a + 3 = b

b + 3 = c

Adding both

a + b + 6 = b + c

=> 6 = c - a

Hence gap between the eldest and the youngest  is 6 years

correct option is D)
