Smoking is leisure for those who have it occasionally . Habit for those who take it daily.
Making smoking your habit is a choice. Parents do not want their kids to get into a habit of any dangerous things which diminishes the health.
Teenagers or youngsters lie to their parents due to the emotional attachment and to avoid hurting their feelings.
