We blow to cool hot things as well as to warm them, the examples of each of them are as follows -

• For making cold :

- Suppose we have a cup of hot coffee which has a much higher temperature than the room temperature.

- Now if we blow wind on the coffee then the coffee will start loosing it's temperature because our blown wind has less temperature than the coffee itself.

- Here the heat is transferred from the coffee to the blown wind by us.

• For making warm :

- In the winter season, our hands become very cold due to the low environmental temperature.

- But our exhaled wind during the respiration has much more high temperature than the environmental temperature.

- In this situation if we exhale the respiratory wind on our cold hands, then our hands will take the heat energy from the wind and the temperature of our hands will be increased.
