Heya...Empress Here....

> First of all, the ears of ours are made up of a flexible material called CARTILAGE. Cartilage is also present in our nose and it is also known for making up the skeletal system of sharks.

> And secondly, our bones are made up of hard calcium. It makes up our teeth too.

> The reason for the statement is, cartilage is itself a flexible material. It can be bended due to its composition whereas bone is a really hard part of our body. It Is not flexible either way.

The cartilage is something that gives the ear its shape and also flexes without breaking. It is a  connective tissue present in our body. It gives support and structure to other bodily tissues. There are different types of cartilage in our body: hyaline cartilage, elastic cartilage, and fibrocartilage.
Hyaline cartilage lines in the bones which help in moving freely. It is present throughout the whole body.
Elastic cartilage contains elastic fibers, making it more flexible than the ordinary cartilages. IIt is mostly present in our EARS and nose.
Fibrocartilage is more rigid and is found in the spinal cord as it contains more collage than hyaline cartilage.
