we can fold the ears but cannot bend bones of arms. why?

here is the reason:

It is since our ears have cartilage matrix that provides flexibility as it is made of sugar and proteins which means they can be bent whereas, the bone matrix does not allow any kind of flexibility as it is made of calcium and phosphorus compounds and hence, cannot be bent.

Why can't we bend bones but can fold ears

Explanation:

  • Ear contain auricular cartilage which is made up of soft collagen called as chrondocytes that makes it flexible and helps in maintaining the shape thus we can easily fold the ears.
  • Bones are made up of calcium phosphate which makes it hard and rigid in structure and thus bones can't be bend or fold.
