we can move our arms in circular motion but not our elbow explain

it happens because of types of bones in them are different .

Arm is made of ball and socket joints.

elbow is made of hinge joint.

joints of arm are ball and socket joint which allows the movement of arm in infinite axis.

whereas joints of elbow is Hinge joint , which allows the movement in only 1 fix direction (one plane around transverse axis)
