we can move our hand in air easily but to do same through a solid block of wood . we need a karate expert . why

Here is ur answer :- Bcz in air the gap btw the molecules is so high so we can easily move our hand bt is solids the molecular gap is low that's why...

Because gas particles are loosely packed so we can move our hand through it .. solid particles are tightly packed with little space between the atoms so we can't move our hand through it....
