Firslt Click on the PivotTable. It displays the PivotTable Tools, adding the Analyze and Design tabs.

On the Analyze tab, in the Calculations group, click on the Fields, Items, & Sets, and then click Calculated Field.

In the Name box, type a name for the field.

Click on any cell in the PivotTable.

The PivotTable Fields pane appears. One can also turn on the PivotTable Fields pane by clicking the Field List button on the Analyze tab.

Click and drag a field to the Rows or Columns area.

Select the Options tab from the toolbar at the top of the screen.

In the Data group, click on Change Data Source button.

When the Change PivotTable Data Source window appears, change the Table/Range value to reflect the new data source for your pivot table. Click on the OK button.
