We can see red coloured veins on the white flower of a cut balsam stem dipped in a glass containing coloured water. By which part of plant, this conduction took place?

Answer: This happens the help of transporting cells.

Explanation: Not only of balsam stem but it happens in every plant. In plants , there are two many cells which are important in transportation.

One of them  is xylem which transports water to the leaves . As it carries water , it can even transport coloured water . When xylem transports water the veins  will be transparent. But when xylem transports red coloured water , the veins appear to be red.
