The sun-light reflection by the moon is a diffused reflection.

• The diffused reflection happens when a rough surface reflects the light rays in random direction which makes the reflecting surface visible to the spectator from any direction.

• Similarly, the moon has an extremely rough surface and moon is visible from every direction or orientation.

• That's why the reflection performed by the moon is a type of diffused reflection.
