Fibre is important for keeping the digestive tractor working smoothly. Since we do not digest it, the fibre in food passes into the intestine and absorb water. The undigested fibre creates " bulk" so the muscles in the intestine can push waste out of the body. Eating enough fibre helps prevent constipation.
Hope it's helps you

Answer:
Dietary fibre is important for our digestive health and regular bowel movements. Fibre also helps you feel fuller for longer, can improve cholesterol and blood sugar levels and can assist in preventing some diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and bowel cancer.
