Because the classroom is very small and the distance between one and wall is much less than 17 m .Echo needs a minimum distance of 17 m to be formed.Hence, we cannot hear echo in classroom.

echo is a sound produced when the original sound is reflected by the walls of a given room.... so far the case of a class room no echo is produced.
