We cannot see the shadow of a bird flying in the sky. Why?

Birds flying high in the sky do cast their shadow but because they are shading an area that is very tiny, theshadow is not visible. The higher thebird flies, the smaller the shadow it casts. Answer: ... Also, the higher an object is in the sky, the larger itsshadow will be on the ground.
