We cannot seperate two poles of a magnet as :

*There are no seperate poles like North or South pole. Say, a magnet is broken into two then it does not seperate into two dif poles. But, again both the north and south poles are formed.

*The smallest magnet is one electronEvery electron is a magnet. In most materials, the electrons are oriented in random ways such that they cancel out one another's magnetic fields, but in some materials a small porportion of the electrons can be forced to line up with one another so that the whole object has a net magnetic field.

*For example "If you have a crumb and cut it in half you don't have two half crumbs, you have two crumbs," For crumbs of a certain size, that is true, but you can't go on cutting the crumbs in half forever. At some point, you will have something that can no longer be called a crumbmaybe a few protein molecules sticking to one another.
