Standing, we put our entire body weight onto a small surface area, the soles of our feet. Just the laws of physics there! The force acting is much higher in that scenario. When you’re sprawled across your bed, your body weight is distributed more or less evenly across a much larger surface area. Lower force to be exerted.
Also, your heart has to pump so that your blood circulates properly throughout your entire body, right? It’s more effortful to pump and circulate the blood
So you have to keep moving..
