Question

We don't clean lakes and ponds but aquariums need to be cleaned regularly. Why?

bcz lakes and ponds are open but aquariums are closed... if we don't clean the aquarium it will get dirty and the water inside it will become toxic and the fishes inside it won't be able to survive in it. where as lakes and ponds are natural and the waste of the fishes will be decomposed but in aquarium that is not possible...

We need to clean aquariums but not ponds and lakes because , in lakes and ponds , decomposing organisms are present which break down the waste material into smaller particles whoes nutrients are then taken up by the aquatic plants and animals. Thus in lakes and ponds they act as the cleaning agents.
