We don't feel air pressure Although there is a tall column of air above us, it is because as the air is continuously exerting pressure from outside our body simultaneously our blood is also exerting pressure from inside our body. So, ultimately the air pressure and the blood pressure cancel each other out and as a result, we can't feel any of them.
