We don't feel air pressure although there is a tall column of air above us. Why? Give reason

it is because the gases present inside the body balance the tremendous atmospheric pressure of about 1.013*10^5 pa.

A very good question!
The atmosphere around us exerts a huge force on us that might have crushed us.But this doesn't happen, we don't get crushed.
This is so because the pressure outside our body is balanced by our internal body pressure.Where does this internal pressure comes from?
Our body contains blood , and other fluids that applies internal pressure.This pressure is equal to the external pressure (of atmosphere) .Hence, we don't feel the huge weight of air around us!
