we shouldn't use fertilizer in the soil

why it's that so ?

When you have healthy soil, rich in organic material, your plants don't need those artificial, chemical fertilizers (i.e. poisons) because your plants get the nutrients they need directly from the soil. ... The effects of chemical fertilizer are incalculably harmful to your soil, the food you grow, and the environment.

We shouldn't use synthetic fertiliser in the soil.

Synthetic fertilisers are fertilisers that are chemically produced materials that comprise one or more primary nutrients necessary for plant growth like phosphorus, nitrogen and potassium.

Excessive use of Synthetic fertilisers has led to many severe problems like:-

  • Soil degradation:- Use of synthetic fertiliser leads to a decline in soil fertility, and an increase in acidity and alkalinity of the soil.

  • Nitrogen leaching:- Use of synthetic fertilisers leads to a process of nitrogen loss in the environment.

  • Soil Compaction:- Use of synthetic fertiliser lessens the pores space between the soils particles which reduces the process of water absorption in the soil

  • Reduction of Soil organic matter:- Use of synthetic fertiliser weakens the organic matter in the soil which reduces the soil's capacity to store and supply essential nutrients.

Because of these problems the demand for the development of Organic Farming and Agriculture has increased.
