vegetables and legumes/beans.
fruit.
lean meats and poultry, fish, eggs, tofu, nuts and seeds, legumes/beans.
grain (cereal) foods, mostly wholegrain and/or high cereal fibre varieties.
milk, yoghurt, cheese and/or alternatives, mostly reduced fat.

yes, we eat many kinds of food which includes veg and non veg ,but mostly people in India are vegetarian from their religious point of view.
