we feel warm inside a blanket as a blanket made of wool will trap air which will help us conserve our body heat, which means that the blanket doesn't keep us warm, it just preserves body temperature. when an ice is kept in a blanket, the same thing happens that it conserves the ice's temperature resulting the ice to melt slowly

Answer:
Ice covered in blanket does not melts bcoz the wool present in the blanket prevents the absorption of heat from ice by conduction, convection as well as radiation. Here prevents does not means that it totally prevents it but it reduces the absorption of heat to a great extent, so ice takes time to melt.
