we have found water on mare but finding life is not easy as the atmosphere of mars is not suituble for life to exit , the surface of mars is covered with sand and the enviornment is full of toxic gases , 96 % of carbon dioxide , 1.9% of nitrogen and 1.9% of argon, while scientist have found some traces of free oxygen

After many researches scientists have found out that there is a layer of ice in planet Mars's crust. But the mars atmosphere is very thick and dusty which is not suitable for a human to make life. Humans and other living organisms of Earth couldn't even respire. Means there is water but water only can't sustain life, air and other resources are also needed which may not be present there.
But its believed that after some years the climate may change in Mars just like Earth and people could soon live there.
