we have learnt excess intake of fats is harmful for the body what about other nutrients would it be harmful for the body to take too much of carbohydrates proteins or vitamins in the diet​

Yes! Too much intake of protein is called hyperprotemia which can be caused due to more than desired requirement of protein it can cause kidney damage , dehydration etc.When you consume more protein than your bodyneeds, the excess protein is used to provide your body with energy or turned into fat. You can't store extra amino acids or protein for later use, so if you consume too many calories in an effort to increaseyour protein intake you will gain weight.

Talking about vitamins yes excessive intake of vitamins or unnecessary taking vitamin supplements can cause hypervitaminosis for almost all vitamins and minerals. Consult a dietician or physician if you wish to take any vitamin supplements
