savitri Bai phule is the wife of jyotiba phule. she would be forever in our hearts . because she had done such a great work that no one can forget , she establishes girls schools and educated the girls on those days when girls are not allowed to read and write . with his husband joytiba phule she teaches the girl child on those days when caste , religion practises are practised. she played a major role in educating girls .she also fought against some religious practises on those days such as: sati pratha. she was in favour of widow remarraige.his struggles will forever rembered by the people.
