The three methods to solve the quadratic equation are( I mean finding the roots):
Factorisation
Completing the Square method
Formula method
According to me, I would choose the third method which I think is the easy and simple method to solve. Also the formula here allows us to know whether the given quadratic equation has real, equal or no roots, without wasting time....until it is not mentioned to use which method.
