To be honest it is optional that you should burn firecrackers. But always know the pros and cons of it.

There is no good in burning firecrackers all that happens is:

•nearly 10000 birds die in diwali

•noise pollution

•waste of money

•it can make the animals restless

•pollution

•and the uprising issue of global warming.

WELL IT IS ALWAYS ADVISED TO NOT USE FIRECRACKERS. BUT PEOPLE TEND TO DO SO. WE SHOULD ALSO CONSIDER THE OTHER BEINGS AND ALSO THE HEALTH OF OUR OWN PLANET.

AND IT IS NOT ONLY A HINDU FESTIVAL. IT IS MORE LIKE A HINDU FESTIVAL BUT CELEBRATED BY THE WHOLE COUNTRY...... THINK WIDE LIVE NICE!!
