we have to place bracket in the expression

and we know that the bracket has the highest priority so, any operations within brackets would be treated first and internally in these brackets , BODMAS would be applicable wherever necessary

to get the answer 8

we treated the expression as

(19+7) ÷2-5

now , bracket is treated first

therefore ,

(19+7) ÷2-5 will become

26 ÷2-5

now , according to BODMAS

division will treated first

therefore ,

26 ÷2-5

13-5 = 8

hence ,The required expression is (19+7) ÷2-5

16+5/ (2-1)= 21

16 +5 =21 groupings always first so 21/1, since 2-1=1. Therefore 21/1= 21
