We have two metal shoes. One of them is rubbed with sand paper and other with ordinary paper. The one rubbed with sand paper shines more than the other. Give reason.

This is because sand paper has a rough surface and both the surfaces i.e. Sand paper and metal lock into each other and friction increases so the dirty particles come out making the shoe shiny.
