My question is that what will happen if water is removed from gypsum....

What will be formed....

Dead burnt Plaster (Anhydrous CaSO4) will be formed when excess water is removed from Gypsum.

On heating at 383K Plaster of Paris forms.

Answer:

Gypsum is a hard substance which is formed by heating Plaster of Paris at 373K....

On removing water the heat will get lost which will result in the decrease bof temperature.... In this case, gypsum is called dead burnt plaster....
