We know macrophages attack and engulfs the bacterias but at the time of AIDS,how HIV virus attacks the macrophages? ??

HIV changes its genetic structure about every 30 minutes or so, therefore the immune system doesn't have enough time to recognize it and does not classify it as a threat. So the virus easily can harm the immune system resulting in AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome).
