We know that 0 + 0 = 0. Is there some other whole number p such that p + p=p?
[Hint: 0 + 0 can be written as 2 x 0 and p + p can be written as 2 x p, i.e., 2p, which can't be equal to p. So, no other whole
number p except O exists such that p + p =p?

The answer is ZERO (0) as in the question p+p=p and this is only possible when eq. will be 0+0=0( as zero added to any no. returns the no. itself as it is the additive identity).... Take any other no. Like 1then 1+1=2 which does not matches with the equation given in the question........ So the answer is ZERO.
