A ship is made of iron but still it floats in water. This is because of its shape. A ship is hollow in the middle. When it is in water, the entire volume of the ship, including the hollow portion displaces water to make space for itself.

Answer:

A ship is made by the principle of Archimedes . The Archimedes principle states that lower the density of an object higher be the buoyant force acting on it . ... This process proportionally decreases the density of the ship and the ship can remain afloat in the water

hope it helps!!
