We know that each colour in VIBGYOR has a different speed, and hence, they have a different refractive index. The refractive index for glass when white light passes through it is 1.5. This is actually the refractive index of yellow in the glass medium. But, why Yellow? Why not take the refractive index of Red, Green or Violet? Please don't answer anything irrelevant, like anything gibberish or that you don't know the answer or you will be reported. where n is the refractive index.

Don’t confuse the refractive index with the Huygen’s principle!

The way your question is worded, it looks as if you may be attempting to find the lowest frequency or wavelength.

i.e.; Red light has no effect on the speed of Blue light!
