We know that, for sound,
speed = wavelength × frequency
=> frequency = speed/wavelength
=> SI unit of frequency = SI unit of speed/SI unit of wavelength = (m/s)÷ m = s.
So, SI unit of frequency = second = s.
But, we know that SI unit of frequency = Hertz.
What is the correct SI unit of frequency then?
Is it second, or Hertz?
