we know that in fungi the sexual cycle involves:
1.Plasmogamy-Fussion of protoplasm (cytoplasm and nucleoplasm).

2. And then, Kartogamy-fusion of two nuclei.

But how nucleoplasm fuses first, if karyogamy takes place after plasmogamy???

Following plasmogamy, the sperm nuclei can be observed transiently within the egg cell and the central cell. The sperm nuclei then fuse with the egg and central cell nuclei (karyogamy) to produce the diploid zygote and triploid endosperm nuclei, respectively.
