we make our own food in the kitchen. This means that we are also autotrophs. Do you agree? Give reasons.

There's a flaw in this statement. We COOK our food and not MAKE(OR PRODUCE) our food.
While plants MANUFACTURER (OR MAKE) their food. This is why plants are autotrophs. Humans are heterotophs.

no we are not autotrophs because we take prepared material then convert into useful products like we take vegetables from plants then we make food from them. autotrophs are mainly that organisms that take inorganic components to make organic component
