the chemical change is in this is that when we burn the mixture the two immiscible solids mix together and gives a unpleasant smell

It is a chemical change as heated iron fillings mixes with sulpur can not be again obtained in the same form as they were before and a chemical change is a process in which new substances are formed thus by mixing these two solids and by grinding them we get a new mixture thus this process is a chemical change because it is permanent in nature
