Answer:

When any chemical equation is not balanced then that is known as skeletal chemical equation. We need to balance it because as we know that mass can neither be created nor be destroyed and also the number of atoms on the reactant side should always be equal to the compounds on the product side

hope it helps u !!

Answer

\starWe need to balance a chemical equation.Because according to law of conversion of mass.

\starDuring a chemical equation Mass can neither be created nor be destroyed. It remains same as before.

Lets Balance a Equation:-

\starTake the example of Formation of water.

\sf Hydrogen+Oxygen\longrightarrow Water

  • Write skeleton equation

\\ \sf\longmapsto H_2+O_2\longrightarrow H_2O

Here

At reactant side

  • Hydrogen=2atoms
  • Oxygen=2atoms

At product side

  • Hydrogen=2atoms
  • Oxygen=1atoms

Balanced Equation:-

\\ \sf\longmapsto 2H_2+O_2\longrightarrow 2H_2O
