HEYA....
HERE IS YOUR ANSWER....
We have to eat foods rich in vitamin C because this vitamin is not produced in our body. We have to get it from the external sources such as citrus fruits, broccoli, tomatoes etc. Vitamin C helps to fight diseases, boosts immunity, help in the growth and repair of tissues etc, where as vitamin D is produced in our body and also we get it from sunlight.
HOPE IT HELPS!!!!

Answer:

It is because vitamin C is considered as an essential vitamin whereas the vitamin D is considered as the non-essential vitamin.

Vitamin C or ascorbic acid is water soluble nutrient that is not synthesized by our body. In addition, due to its water solubility it gets eliminated as waste with urine.

So, it is suggested to take vitamin C regularly in our diets so that sufficient concentration of it can be maintained in our body.

In contrast, vitamin D can be synthesized by the cells of our skin when they are exposed to the ultraviolet B radiation of the sun.
