We observe velvety carpet on the moist walls during rainy season.Is it an alga or Bryophyte ?justify?

in mostly rainy season...we see a velvety green carpet on moist and wet walls due to the growth of various types of fungi ...and algae which give it a greenish appearance..

those green layers are of green algae or fungi..
