Everybody has a right to express his opinion but one must also respect the opinion of others and should think in the same way that other person also possesses this right, when this is not done, the person has to argue for putting up his opinion.
Once I was in an official meeting and meeting agenda was to finalise a project timeline. I presented my view point which was objected immediately, instead of comprehending my opinion, an objection was put forward. Eventually it became an argument and then I had to justify my opinion which was finally agreed by most members in the meeting
