We often use a calculation called the surface area : volume ratio. This is simply calculated by dividing the surface area by the volume. For a sphere with radius 1 mm, the ratio comes out as 3.25 : 1, and this is usually just written as 3.25.
Calculate the surface area to volume ratios for spheres with radiuses 2–6mm.
