We practiced writing different stories. One was about fairies, one was about a girl and a monkey, one was about

a picnic, one was based on a visual input, one was a funny story about Akbar and Birbal.

Given below are statements with two choices. Circle the one which you focus more on so that you may try to

focus on the other elements as well.

1. I like to write stories based on visual input / written prompts (help-box).

2. I like to write funny stories/ adventure stories/ stories about fairies and gods/ stories about daily life/

animal stories.

3. The most important element of a story for me is character/ setting/ problem/ solution.

4. When writing about the character I focus on character’s appearance/ tone/ attitude/ point of view.

5. When describing the setting I focus on describing surroundings/ describing people/ describing culture.

6. While writing a story, I prefer to focus on emotions/ actions/ language of the story/ dialogues.
