white clothes reflect heat which keeps us cool, dark clothes absorb heat which keeps us warm while we feel hot

we prefer to wear white cloth in summer and cold clothes in winter this is because white color is a good reflector of heat and black color is a good absorber of heat so during summer we wear white clthes so keep oueself cool and in winter black clthes so as to keep ourself heated
