No because we dont prepare the ingredients for the food stuffs. We get the ingredients from plants. Therefore green plants are known as autotrophs and we and other animals are known as heterotrophs

We prepare a variety of food stuffs and dishes at homes. This does not make us autotrophs. This is because autotrophs prepare food on their own with the help of sunlight, water, minerals and chlorophyll.

EXPLANATION:

When we prepare food at home, we do not prepare the raw materials that are used in making the final food dishes. We are heterotrophs who prepare the food by taking ingredients that are prepared by autotrophs.
