When we put or hands on a flame or hot body, then we suddenly move our hands back. Such an action is called reflex action by our brain. A reflex action follows this general sequence without considering conscious part of the brain, hence it is quick. Sequence is that stimulus gives signal to receptor, this receptor gives signal to sensory neurone, then motor neurone and finally signal is given back to perform response.
