But any relationship requires commitment…Coca Cola looks for customers to be committed and loyal to their product. If they expect that, then of course a spouse should value commitment and loyalty. But to remind people they are there and part of their customers lives, Coca Cola communicates in a very effective way. There is a familiarity that is also emphasized in that communication. But also a willingness to do something new.

So we have loyalty, commitment, and communication. Those are all crucial in my opinion. But there is more than just that. There ideally should be mutual synergy while maintaining individuality. Love, intimacy, compassion, passion, and even patience ebb and flow. But are also huge factors in an love relationship.

Let’s not forget truthfulness…I hear honesty but I think there is a difference. I think being truthful is just as effective but gentler. Takes the other person’s feelings into account. Where people sometimes are honest, but they become brutally honest. That is destructive.
